This is the view of the river from our family room...looking out the back of the house. The construction is going along a little faster now. It looks like everything will be finished by the 21st of July. Mom and I make a trip out daily to see how things are going. Pretty exciting.

I love the view of the river... but aren't you afraid of floods?
No Amy, We are sitting up about 10-15 feet above the water. I guess we could be flooded though. About 40 years ago it happened in this area. I guess we will have to take our chances.
